Otra joya desde la ciudad mas al sur de Alemania.
4 temas en poco mas de 7 minutos, todos instrumentales. Una genial fusion de punk, hardcore, r’n’r y surf con mucha personalidad y mucha energia.
Tuve la suerte de verlos tocar en varias ocasiones y tengo que decir que tenian (algo me dice que ya no tocan…) un directo de lo mas espectacular: los vi propinar 40 minutos de musica con solo una pausa, como si fueran 2 unicas canciones en todo el show.
Los encargados de las cuerdas (que son 2) tambien hicieron lo suyo en Verval Diarrea y Aspirina Infantil.
No tengo ni idea de donde podriais encontrar una copia fisica del e.p.
Yo lo tengo.

Un’altra perla dalla cittá piú al sud della Germania.
4 canzoni in poco piú di 7 minuti, tutte strumentali. Una geniale fusione di punk, hardcore, r’n’r e surf con molta personalitá e molta energia.
Ho avuto la fortuna di vederli dal vivo in varie occasioni e devo dire che avevano (qualcosa mi dice che non suonano piú…) un diretto spettacolare: gli ho visti propinare 40 minuti di musica con solo una pausa, come se fossero solo 2 canzoni in tutto lo spettacolo.
Gli incaricati delle corde (che sono 2) fecere delle loro anche con Verval Diarrea y Aspirina Infantil.
Non ho idea di dove possiate procurarvi una copia fisica del e.p.
Io ce l’ho.

Another gem from Germany’s southest city.
4 songs in a little bit more of 7 minutes, all of them instrumentals. A brilliant fusion of punk, hardcore, r’n’r and surf with a lot of personality and a lot of energy.
I had the luck to see them live several times and i have to say they had (something says me they don’t play nomore…) a spactacular live act: i saw them playing 40 minutes of music with only 1 break, as if they were only 2 songs throughout the show.
The guys in charge of the strings (which are 2) did their thing also with Verval Diarrea and Aspirina Infantil.
I have no idea where you can found a physical copy of this e.p.
I have mine.

Segundo trabajo de estos chicos ya no tan chicos. 10 temas en casi 32 minutos, letras protesta, bateria tupa tupa, guitarra al limite del heavy metal. Al escucharlo me vienen a la cabeza los compilados del fanzine 100% Papel Del W.C., que de chaval gastè de tanto ponerlos a sonar. El sonido es de puta madre y al descargarlo del fartcamp vienen las graficas del disco, muy curradas.

Seconda uscita per questi ragazzi non piú tan ragazzi. 10 canzoni in quasi 32 minuti, testi di denuncia, batteria tupa tupa, chitarra al limite del heavy metal. Al ascoltarlo mi vengono in mente le compilation del fanzine 100% Papel Del W.C., che da ragazzino ho consumato a forza di farle suonare. La registrazione è impeccabile e se si scarica dal fartcamp vengono le grafiche del disco, molto ben fatte.

When i hear it come to my mind 100% Papel Del W.C. ‘zine’s compilations, that i wasted when i was a kid for too much listening. The recording is fucking great and if you download it from fartcamp it comes the graphics of the album, which are very well made.

Algo Toxico – Juntxs En El Caos

Me contactó Silvia, que fué cantante de Ultimo Resorte, banda punk de Barcelona empezada en el 1979, y me pasó este disco para ayudarles a promocionarlo y aquí estamos.
Basicamente: punk. 6 canciones de alrededor de 2:30 minutos cada una, guitarreo rockero, velocidad a medio gas, voz estridente, con un aire en general divertido e irreverente. Algunos momentos con una vena mas hard rock (“Vudu”, la tercera pista), otros mas pop (“Juntas”, la cuarta pista, una cancion de amor[?] bastante melancolica).
Llevan tocando desde 2004 y la misma Silvia en su misiva se define así: “somos un grupo sin pretensiones, pero al mismo tiempo no dejamos de ser persistentes”.
La portada, de lo mas brutal que e visto en mucho tiempo.

Mi contattó Silvia, che fu la cantante degli Ultimo Resorte, gruppo punk di Barcellona iniziato nel 1979, e mi passò ‘sto disco per aiutarli a promozionarlo ed in questo punto ci troviamo.
Basicamente: punk. 6 canzoni intorno ai 2:30 minuti ognuna, chitarre rockeggianti, velocitá a mezzo tempo, voce stridente, con un aria in generale divertente ed irriverente. A tratti con uno stile piú hard rock (“Vudu”, la terza traccia), a volte piú pop (“Juntas”, la quarta traccia, una canzone d’amore[?] abbastanza melancolica).
Suonano dal 2004 e la stessa Silvia nella sua mail si definisce cosí: “siamo un gruppo senza pretese peró allo stesso tempo siamo persistenti”.
La copertina, una delle piú brutali che ho visto in molto tempo.

They play together since 2004 and Silvia herself descrive them as: “we are a band with no pretention but at the same time we are tenacious”.
The cover, one of the most brutal i’ve seen in a long time.

Hasta hace poco el grindcore no me gustaba nada. La cosa empezò a cambiar cuando un amigo me hizo escuchar el Bilder Fressen Strom de Japanische Kampfhörspiele. Poco tiempo despues vi tocar a Whoresnation y ya quedé convencido de que el grindcore puede molarme. Esto nos lleva a la madrugada del 9 de abril (a las 07:30 para ser exactos) en la Jungla, que fue cuando vi tocar a No Human Existence y ¡se marcaron un conciertazo! La verdad es que no recuerdo mucho los detalles porquè a esa hora el nivel de alcol en la sangre era notable, pero nos hicieron bailar a todos los que aguantamos hasta ese momento. Pues eso, contundencia y actitud. Aquì les dejo un puñado de temas que tienen grabados ya que tuvieron el detalle de regalarle un cd a mi hermano, que estuvo currandose el sonido esa noche. 10 conciones de duracion media de 1 minuto, sonidos podridos entre crust y grind, una chica como voz principal.

Fino a poco tempo fa il grindcore non mi piaceva per niente. La cosa inizió a cambiare cuando un amico mi fece ascoltare il Bilder Fressen Strom dei Japanische Kampfhörspiele. Poco tempo dopo vidi suonare i Whoresnation e rimasi convinto che il grindcore puó arrivare a piacermi. Questo ci porta alla mattina del 9 aprile (alle 7:30 per essere precisi) nella Jungla, che fu quando vidi suonare ai No Human Existence e fecero un gran concerto! Veramente non mi ricordo molto i dettagli perché a quell’ora il livello di alcol nel sangue era notevole, peró ci fecero ballare a tutti quelli che resistimmo fino a quel momento. Forza e attitudine. Vi lascio una manciata di canzoni che hanno registrato, visto che hanno avuto il dettaglio di regalare un cd a mio fratello, che stava al mixer quella sera. 10 canzoni dalla durata media di 1 minuto, suoni marci fra crust e grind, una ragazza come voce principale.

Until few time ago i don’t like grindcore at all. This fact start changing when a friend made me listen to Bilder Fressen Strom of Japanische Kampfhörspiele. A little bit later i saw Whoresnation playing and it convinced me that i can like grindcore. This bring us until 9 april morning (at 07:30 to be exact) in Jungla, when i saw No Human Existence playing and they kick asses! To be honest, i cannot remember very good the details ’cause at that hour the alcohol level in the blood was pretty high, but they made all of us dancing. Like i said: strenght and actitud. I leave you a fistfull of songs they recorded ’cause they gave to my brother a cd, as a present, ’cause he was the sound guy that night. 10 songs with the average lenght around 1 minute, rotten sounds between crust and grind, a girl as lead vocalist.

Una de las bandas que mas me gustó en Barcelona, con un sonido totalmente en la onde de las bandas californianas de los ’80 y primeros ’90. A veces me recuerdan los Rancid de los primeros discos (como en “Reality Check”, primer tema del disco), a veces los Suicidal Tendencies, tambien de los comienzos, a veces suenan un poco mas thrash. Por desgracia ya no tocan.

Uno dei gruppi che più mi son piaciuti in Barcellona, con un suono totalmente nello stile delle bande californiane degli ’80 e primi ’90. Brutal disco con brutal titulo (literalmente “la lefa de las personas”) de esta brutal banda de brutal nombre (Andy Marica y Los Hombres De Verdad). Un puñado de canciones a medio camino entre el punk hardcore de principio de los ’80 y el r’n’r garagero de los ’60. Parece ser que ya no tocan. Es una pena porque seguro que sus conciertos tenian que ser bien divertidos.

Disco brutale con un titolo brutale (letteralmente “la sborra delle persone”) di questa banda brutale con un nome brutale (Andy Frocio e Gli Uomini Veri). Un pugno di canzoni a metà strada tra il punk hardcore dei primi anni ’80 ed il garage r’n’r degli anni ’60. Sembra che non siano più attivi. È un peccato perché sicuro che i loro concerti dovevano essere ben divertenti.

Brutal album with a brutal title (litteraly “the cum of the people”) from this brutal band with a brutal name. A fistul of songs in half way between ’80s punk hardcore and ’60s garage r’n’r. Apparently they are not playing nomore. It’s a pity because for sure their live shows were very funny.

Unos de los grandes olvidados de la infame escena punk mallorquina. El unico disco que sacaron, 16 canciones en 20 minutos. Un batido podrido de punk, d-beat, r’n’r, skate y mala leche. 4 tipejos a los instrumentos, todos ellos poniendole voces. El batero tambien cantò en Phogo, los guitarras hicieron lo suyo en B.B.M.E. y luego en Aspirina Infantil y el bajista cantó con Disease y luego volvió al bajo con Aspirina Infantil. En mi epoca mallorquina compartí escenario con ellos, primero con Hysterikals y luego con Skiphö.

Il batterista cantó anche nei Phogo, i chitarristi suonarono nei B.B.M.E. e anche negli Aspirina Infantil ed il bassista cantó nei Disease e tornò al basso negli Aspirina Infantil. Nella mia epoca maiorchina ho compartito il palco con loro prima con gli Hysterikals e poi con gli Skiphö.

The drummer also sang in Phogo, the guitar players were doing is job in B.B.M.E. and also in Aspirina Infantil and the bass player was singing in Disease and came back to the bass in Aspirina Infantil. In my mallorcan times I shared the stage with them, before with Hysterikals and after with Skiphö.

Quiero estrenar el blog con un proyecto en el cual participè como bajista. Creo que musicalmente es la mejor banda en la cual e tocado y la grabacion tambien es buena, gracias al bueno de Javier, ya compañero de (des)aventuras con Skiphö, en la isla de Mallorca. Dos italianos (de nacimiento), un rumano, un aleman, un ingles y una costaricense componian la banda. Durò mas bien poquito, sobretodo por ser el aleman y la costaricense unos culos inquietos. Si no recuerdo mal lleguemos a los 4 conciertos, grabamos este puñado de temas y compusimos otros 2 que probablemente nunca grabaremos.

Voglio innaugurare il blog con un proggetto in cui partecipai come bassista. Credo che musicalmente sia la miglior banda in cui ho suonato e la registrazione anche è buona, grazie al buon Javier, giá compagno di (dis)avventure negli Skiphö, nell’isola di Mallorca. Due italiani (di nascita), un rumano, un tedesco, un inglese e una costarichense formavano il gruppo. Durò abbastanza poco, soprattutto perchè il tedesco e la costarichense sono dei culi inquieti. Se non ricordo male arrivammo ai 4 concerti, registrammo ‘sta manciata di canzoni e ne componemmo altre 2 che provabilmente non registreremo mai.

I think musically is the best band i’ve played with and also the recording is good, thanks to Javier, already mate in Skiphö, in Mallorca island. Two italians (from birth), a rumanian, a german, an inglish and a costarican form the band. It last for a few, mostly ’cause the german and the costarican have ants in their pants. If i don’t remember wrong we played 4 shows, recorded this fistful of songs and we compose 2 more wich probably we’ll never record
